About our Doctors
Uchenna Okeke
A graduate of the University of Nigeria, Dr. Okeke spent the first year after graduating living in the UK. She moved to New York in 2008 and worked at a corporate practice in Larchmont until she made the decision to purchase a practice in 2022. She is passionate about all round wellness care for dogs and cats and is an advocate for fear-free handling. When not at work Dr. Okeke enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband and two sons.

Valerie Scott
Dr. Valerie Scott received a bachelor of science degree in biology in 1988 from Adelphi University, and her degree in veterinary medicine and surgery from Cornell University in 1992. In 2003 she founded Veterinary Care of Bedford, where for nearly twenty years, she has been dedicated to building relationships with her clients and keeping her patients healthy. When not at work, she enjoys time with her husband and daughter, her dog and cats, long walks, bicycle riding, the beach, and reading.
